Publishing Policy

This policy provides clarity on the practical and legal aspects of publishing with Confmeets.

  • Copyright and Licensing: Upon acceptance, authors retain the copyright to their work. Authors grant Confmeets Publishing an exclusive license to publish the article. All articles are made freely available under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction, provided the original authors and source are credited.
  • Long-Term Digital Preservation: To guarantee perpetual access, all Confmeets journals are archived in multiple trusted, digital preservation archives and repositories. This ensures the long-term security and accessibility of the published research for the global scholarly community.
  • Article Processing Charges (APCs): As a sustainable open-access publisher, our operations are funded by APCs. The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted. The specific charge for each journal is transparently listed on its respective homepage. We are committed to inclusivity and offer APC waivers or discounts to researchers from developing economies or those experiencing financial hardship.
  • Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Authors must transparently disclose the use of such tools in the preparation of their manuscript for writing, data analysis, image creation, etc. in a dedicated section within the manuscript (e.g., Methods or Acknowledgements). The authors assume full responsibility for the content's accuracy, integrity, and originality, including any output generated by an AI tool.
