Biography -

Prof. Tshifhiwa C. Nangammbi, Pr.Sci.Nat., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nature Conservation at the Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa. A Fulbright Scholar and registered professional scientist with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP), she has over two decades of academic and research experience in zoology, conservation ecology, and biodiversity management. Her work focuses on ecological systematics, wildlife ecology, parasitology, invasive species, and environmental sustainability. Prof. Nangammbi has served as an expert advisor to the High-Level Panel for the South African Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Fisheries and has been actively involved in developing university curricula, establishing molecular genetics laboratories, and supervising numerous postgraduate students. She has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed articles in international journals including Diversity (MDPI), Veterinary Sciences (MDPI), Sustainability, and Vector-Borne and Zoonotic Diseases.
