Dr. Touqeer Ahmed Jumani, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at A’Sharqiyah University, Oman, currently on lien from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), where he previously served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Dr. Jumani’s research focuses on electrical power; energy system; renewable energy optimization; swarm intelligence-based optimization methods for electric power systems and microgrid controls with over 1700 academic citations to his work. He brings extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership across institutions in Pakistan and the Middle East.
