Wafaa M Hikal is an associate professor at the National research Centre, Egypt and collaborates in parasitology, insects and microbiology projects. Her research interests focus on water borne parasites. She is a member of various scientific societies and academic editor, editorial board member and editor in chief  of some international journals. Incentive award for faculty members whose research has received high citations and published in scientific journals in WOS Q1, (2023, 2024); University of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia and published peer-reviewed articles and books.
