Priscila Martins is a Professor and researcher with extensive experience in the field of Physical Education and Health. She holds a Ph.D. in Physical Education from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), where she also completed her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees. She is currently a Professor in the Physical Education Program at the University of the Extreme South of Santa Catarina (UNESC). At UNESC, Dr. Martins demonstrates strong academic and scientific leadership, serving as the Coordinator of the Kinanthropometry, Strength, and Exercise Physiology Laboratories. In addition, she leads the Study and Research Group in Kinanthropometry and is a member of the Study and Research Group in Health Promotion (GEPPS/UNESC). Her research expertise focuses on Kinanthropometry and the intersection between Physical Activity and Health, with a primary emphasis on assessing physical fitness across different populations. Her academic activities also extend to the community, where she serves as a Tutor for the Multiprofessional Residency in Primary Care/Family Health.
