Biography

Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savas is a distinguished Turkish mathematician with over four decades of academic and research experience in mathematics. He earned his B.Sc. from Hacettepe University, followed by M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Fırat University. After completing his doctorate, he conducted postdoctoral research at Utkal University, India. He became Associate Professor in 1988 and Full Professor in 1993. Throughout his career, he has held several prestigious academic positions including Chairman of the Department of Mathematics, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Istanbul Commerce University, and Rector of Uşak University. His research focuses on sequence spaces, summability theory, fuzzy sequence spaces, functional analysis, and mathematical analysis. He has published more than 500 research papers and has been listed among the Stanford University World's Top 2% Scientists since 2020. He is also a member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences and AASSA and has served on the editorial boards of numerous international journals.

Professor El-Sayed Mohamed Abo-Dahab Khedary, Professor in Applied Mathematics (Continuum Mechanics). He born in 1973. He has got Master in Applied Mathematics in 2001 from SVU, Egypt. He has got PHD in 2005 from Assiut University, Egypt. In 2012 he has got Assistant Professor Degree in Applied Mathematics. In 2017 he has got Professor Degree in Applied Mathematics. In 2020 he has got DSc. In Physics and Mathematics. He works in elasticity, thermoelasticity, fluid mechanics, fibre-reinforced, magnetic field. He is the author or co-author of over 350 scientific publications in Science, Engineering, Biology, Geology, Acoustics, Physics, Plasma, …, etc. He is a member in editorial board of 5 international journals. He is a reviewer of 150 an international Journals in solid mechanics and applied mathematics. His research papers have been cited in many articles and textbooks. He authored many books in mathematics. He has attended and presented papers in more than 25 international conferences. He had awarded South Valley University Incentive prize in 2011. He had awarded Professor Dr Amin Lotfy in Mathematics 2014 and State Incentive in Mathematical Sciences 2015 prizes from the Academy of Scientific Research, Egypt. Also, he had awarded the Excellence prize of SVU in Basic Sciences in 2020.

Biography

Dmytro Muzylov (Dmitriy Muzylyov) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Transport Technologies at Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, Ukraine, and the guarantor of the university’s PhD programme in Transport Systems. He holds a PhD in Technical Sciences and has more than twenty years of academic, research, and teaching experience in transport technologies and logistics. His research integrates applied mathematics with transport and supply-chain problems, with particular emphasis on mathematical modelling, optimization, fuzzy logic, neural networks, Petri nets, system dynamics, intelligent transport systems, agricultural logistics, and sustainable supply-chain management. He is an approved expert of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for scientific and scientific-technical evaluation, a member of its specialized scientific and technical council in the field of smart and integrated transport, and a certified expert for the accreditation of higher-education programmes. His editorial experience includes service as an Academic Editor of PLOS One and as an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports and several other international journals. He also contributes to international academic and educational projects and supervises research in intelligent, sustainable, safe, and resilient transport systems.

Avraam A. Konstantinidis received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering  in 1996 and his PhD in 2000, respectively, from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). He joined the General Department of AUTh as a Lecturer (5/2003-11/2010) and later became an Assistant Professor in the same Department (11/2010-9/2013). He moved to the Department of Civil Engineering (9/2013-12/2017) and he is currently an Assistant Professor (12/2017-present) and also acts as the Director of the Laboratory of Engineering Mechanics of AUTh.

He was Advisor in 1 finished PhD Thesis (A. Kampouris, 2022) and 2 ongoing ones (V. Dimosthenes, A. Stouri), as well as Member of the 3-member Admission Committee in a number of completed PhD Theses at AUTh. He was also Αdvisor in 4 MSc Theses in the Interdepartmental Graduate Program Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies /NN, as well as a number of (completed) Undergraduate Theses at the Civil Engineering Department. He acts as a Reviewer in various scientific journals and National and International Funding Organizations. He received a total of ~1MEuros from the Region of Central Macedonia for purchasing scientific equipment, as well as a small national scientific grant (40 kEuros).

His research interests involve non-local modeling of material behavior at various scales (macro-, micro- and nano-scale), hybrid gradient-stochastic cellular automata simulations, as well as experiments for material characterization at the micro- and nano-scale (nanoindentation, microtension, confocal microscopy, sputter coating, 3D printing, etc.). He has published >65 journal as well as >15 proceedings articles.
