Prof. Francesco Inchingolo is a Full Professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Medicine at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy. He also serves as Vice Director of the Complex Operational Unit of Odontostomatology at the Bari University Hospital Consortium Policlinico and Director of the Postgraduate School of Oral Surgery.

He earned his Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1983 and subsequently completed specializations in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, Experimental Medicine, Dentistry (Odontostomatology), and Maxillofacial Surgery. Throughout his distinguished academic career spanning more than four decades, Prof. Inchingolo has combined clinical practice, research, teaching, and international collaboration in oral and maxillofacial sciences.

Prof. Inchingolo has coordinated numerous national and international research projects, supervised over 200 academic theses, and delivered more than 200 university teaching appointments. He has established extensive collaborations with universities and research institutions across Europe, the United States, Asia, and the Middle East. His scientific contributions include hundreds of peer-reviewed publications, numerous book chapters, and active participation in international conferences, with research focusing on innovative approaches in oral surgery, implantology, orthodontics, regenerative medicine, and dental biomaterials.
