Matthias Hinz is a sport scientist affiliated with the University of Potsdam, Germany, where he pursued a Master's degree in Integrative Sport, Movement and Health Science. He previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Movement Science from Paris-Lodron University Salzburg, following undergraduate studies at the German Sport University Cologne.
Throughout his academic journey, Matthias has gained international experience through study programs at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland, focusing on sports injuries, sport psychology, and European sports systems. In addition to his academic background, he has worked as a teacher, sports camp leader, outdoor event moderator, and supervisor in recreational and wellness settings across Germany and Europe. His international experience includes youth sports leadership and outdoor education programs in Switzerland, Spain, Italy, and France. He is actively engaged in handball, surfing, and language learning and holds certifications in lifesaving, first aid, and advanced English proficiency.
