Dr. Zahra Sadin is a medical doctor and research assistant specializing in thoracic and cardiovascular diseases, with a strong background in internal medicine, oncology, and cardiothoracic research. She earned her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Hamadan University of Medical Sciences, Iran, completing her thesis on “Overall survival in esophageal cancer based on type, anatomical location, and site of metastasis.” She currently serves as a Research Assistant at Arya Private Hospital in Rasht, Iran, and as a Remote Research Assistant at the University of Arizona under the mentorship of Dr. M. Reza Movahed. Her work focuses on thoracic pathologies with potential cardiovascular involvement, patient recruitment, data collection, statistical analysis, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Sadin has also practiced extensively as a family physician, providing comprehensive healthcare and preventive services to diverse communities. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters covering topics such as hydatid disease, mediastinal tumors, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and rare thoracic pathologies.
