Dr. Yongting Luo graduated with a Ph.D. degree in Cell Biology from the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012. He is a professor at the Department of Nutrition and Health of China Agricultural University. He has received 10 scientific awards and participated in 21 scientific projects, being the coordinator in 9 projects. His current research interests focus on Cell metabolism, vascular biology, and nutritional intervention for cardiovascular diseases. To date, he has published 68 academic papers in internationally renowned journals, including European Heart Journal, Blood, Science Bulletin, Cell Research, Nature Communications, PNAS, Cell Reports, Protein Cell, International Journal of Surgery, Cell Death & Disease, and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Advanced Echocardiography Course at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, United States, 1984. He was a faculty at the meetings of the different TCT congresses 2014, 2015, 2016, USA, ICI Meeting held in Israel 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, is  recepient the cardiovascular innovation award at the ICI 2015 meeting. He currently has 9 patents for medical device and PTCR procedure USA, Russia, Europe, Geneva and Japan. Scientific article published in the journal ESC Heart Failure 2022. He is a reviewer of the ESC Heart Failure and ACC Journal.

Dr. Mohd. Shahbaaz Khan has been serving as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Heart and Lung Transplant Surgery at Harefield Hospital, London, Guys and St. Thomas NHS Trust. In this role, he has been actively involved in Heart and Lung DBD and DCD organ retrievals and implantations, as well as in the management of ECMO, LVAD, and BIVAD devices. From December 2021 to November 2023, he worked as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College NHS Trust, London. Prior to this, from April 2020 to December 2021, he served as a Senior Clinical Fellow at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, UK. Between May 2015 and March 2020, Dr. Khan was part of the Adult and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery team at the prestigious King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Before that, he gained valuable experience as a Junior Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi. Throughout his career, Dr. Mohd. Shahbaaz Khan has performed a wide range of complex surgical procedures, including CABG (on-pump and off-pump), AVR, MVR, mitral valve repair, ASD, VSD, Glenn shunts, BT shunts, TAPVC, PAPVC, TOF, and assisted in advanced congenital and adult procedures such as AV canal defects, TGA, CCTGA, Ebstein anomaly, ALCAPA, Fontan procedure, Rastelli procedure, truncus arteriosus, interrupted aortic arch, as well as minimally invasive approaches like MIDCAB and Heart Port. He has also contributed to major cardiac surgeries, including Bentall’s procedure, aortic aneurysm repairs, aortic dissection repairs, TAVI, and ECMO supports.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Hamadan University of Medical Sciences, Iran, completing her thesis on “Overall survival in esophageal cancer based on type, anatomical location, and site of metastasis.” She currently serves as a Research Assistant at Arya Private Hospital in Rasht, Iran, and as a Remote Research Assistant at the University of Arizona under the mentorship of Dr. M. Reza Movahed. Her work focuses on thoracic pathologies with potential cardiovascular involvement, patient recruitment, data collection, statistical analysis, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Sadin has also practiced extensively as a family physician, providing comprehensive healthcare and preventive services to diverse communities. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters covering topics such as hydatid disease, mediastinal tumors, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and rare thoracic pathologies. Her research interests span cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and complex cardiothoracic disorders. Fluent in English, German, and Persian, Dr. Sadin is committed to advancing medical research and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Dr. Samuel Keith Williams, III, MD, CPG, was born on November 23, 1980, in Killeen, Texas. He is the son of a retired U.S. Army veteran who served in the Iraq War and a small business owner based in Columbia, South Carolina. Raised primarily in a single-parent household, Dr. Williams took on the role of eldest among ten children. He demonstrated academic excellence early on while attending public schools in Columbia, SC, and was notably the only African American sophomore enrolled in a junior-level general chemistry course at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, SC. There, he also distinguished himself as a Varsity Cross Country athlete and one of the top 4A runners in the state. In 1997, he relocated to Hephzibah, Georgia, where he attended Butler High School, excelling both academically and athletically as an honor student, track team captain, and one of the leading pole vaulters in Richmond County. Following graduation, he enrolled in the Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) at Savannah State University, graduating as valedictorian. He then pursued higher education at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, on a half-tuition academic scholarship, joining the Honors Program and excelling in courses such as Advanced Physical Chemistry. Dr. Williams earned his M.D. from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, where he graduated with a GPA of 3.01. He currently serves as President of the South Georgia Chapter of the Meharry Medical College National Alumni Association and is the administrator of the "Secret Society of Meharry" Facebook group.
