Alessandra Di Serafino is a biologist with a solid background in life sciences and currently serves as Senior Product Specialist in Genetic Solutions at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Frankfurt. Her academic and professional path encompasses animal, plant, and environmental health, with a particular focus on innovative genotyping solutions and the application of genomic technologies to promote sustainability and food security. Throughout her career, she has developed strong expertise in scientific project management, strategic innovation, and the establishment of long-term collaborations with both academic and industrial stakeholders. Alessandra’s research interests include interdisciplinary approaches to genetics, public health, and climate change, as well as the role of biotechnology in addressing global challenges.
