Yes. Confmeets Journal memberships are valid for one year from the date of activation. About 30 days before expiry, you will receive a reminder via email. Renewal is manual unless you are enrolled in an auto-renewal plan.
If you upgrade during your active term, you only pay the pro-rated difference based on the unused portion of your current plan. The upgraded benefits apply immediately, but your membership expiry date remains the same (unless you extend for a full year at the time of upgrade).
Unused free submission quotas expire at the end of the membership year and cannot be carried forward. To get the most out of your plan, we recommend scheduling submissions within the membership period.
Once your free submission quota is used, you still benefit from reduced Article Processing Charges (APCs) compared to non-members. The exact discounted APC depends on your membership plan and will be clearly shown in your member dashboard.
Membership ensures priority assistance from our editorial office, including guidance on manuscript formatting and faster responses to technical queries. However, peer review and editorial evaluation follow the same independent and rigorous standards for all authors; membership does not influence acceptance decisions.

Yes. Confmeets membership is open globally to researchers without geographical restrictions. Payment options and available currencies may vary by region. In some cases, APC discounts or waivers are applied for researchers from low- and middle-income countries in line with our policy.
If payment fails, your membership will not be activated, and you will be notified immediately. For delayed transfers (e.g., international bank transfers), you may contact support with proof of payment to ensure faster activation.
Your member dashboard includes a usage tracker showing how many free submissions you have used, your remaining quota, and discounted APCs applied. During submission, the system will also display whether your manuscript qualifies under your membership benefits.
