Prof. Dr. Irshad Ahmed stands as a towering figure in both psychology and education. Born in Sri Lanka, his relentless pursuit of knowledge and commitment to societal well-being have led him to be recognized as Asia’s most influential psychologist. His work has not only earned him international acclaim but also reshaped how we approach mental health and educational systems in Asia and beyond.

Throughout his career, Prof. Dr. Irshad Ahmed has made remarkable strides in the world of education and psychology. His awards include being named “Most Influenced Psychologist 2025” and receiving the “Golden Legacy Award 2025.” These accolades reflect a lifetime of dedication and groundbreaking work, but it is his focus on social change that has truly set him apart. His initiatives have helped thousands, with a special emphasis on offering accessible education and mental health support.

Irshad’s journey to prominence began with a strong foundation in education and a deep belief in the power of knowledge. But it wasn’t just about acquiring degrees and accolades; it was about using his platform to bring about real-world change. In 2025, he set a remarkable milestone by providing free Basic Counselling Skills Certification to over 15,000 individuals—an initiative that made a significant social impact and set a world record attempt. This initiative is a clear example of Irshad’s commitment to making education and psychological support more accessible to everyone, particularly those from underserved communities.

In addition to his educational outreach, Irshad has written and published over 30 books, many of which serve as essential resources for students, educators, and professionals in psychology. His publications are designed to address contemporary challenges and provide solutions for real-world issues in mental health and education.

His list of awards continues to grow. In 2025 alone, Irshad received the “Humanity Impact Award,” the “Youth Excellence Award,” and several other prestigious recognitions. These awards are a testament to the transformative influence he has had on society through his work.

Every great leader faces challenges, and Irshad’s path to success has been no different. Over the years, he encountered obstacles that tested his resolve, from skepticism about his approaches to facing systemic barriers in regions with limited access to education and psychological services. Despite these challenges, his vision remained unshaken, and he used each hurdle as a stepping stone to greater accomplishments.

Irshad’s most ambitious goal to date is his ongoing Guinness World Record attempt to complete 1,000 courses by the end of 2025. This is not merely a personal challenge but a symbolic effort to demonstrate his belief in continuous learning and the endless possibilities of education.

What makes Prof. Dr. Irshad Ahmed stand out in his field is his approach to both psychology and education. He believes that education and mental health must go hand in hand in order to build a healthier, more informed society. His work bridges the gap between these two fields, offering a comprehensive approach that addresses the mind and the classroom simultaneously.

Irshad’s unique methodology is reflected in his academic and professional contributions. He advocates for a more inclusive and practical approach to education, one that acknowledges the needs of diverse learners while emphasizing mental well-being. His work has also led to his recognition as the “Outstanding Youth Icon of the Year 2021” and the “International Talented Personality” in 2022. These accolades speak not only to his expertise but also to his ability to inspire others.

As Prof. Dr. Irshad Ahmed continues to break new ground in education and psychology, his story is a powerful reminder of the difference one individual can make. His work not only impacts the lives of those directly involved but also contributes to a larger societal shift toward more accessible education and mental health care.

Irshad’s legacy is one of dedication, service, and a constant drive to break down barriers in education and mental health. By continuing to share his expertise and vision, he encourages others to join him in creating positive, lasting change.
