Our editorial boards are empowered to enforce a strict ethical
framework, detailed in our comprehensive Ethics Policy, which is
non-negotiable.
- Originality and Authorship Integrity: We publish only original
work that is not under consideration elsewhere. Redundant publication
(self-plagiarism) is strictly prohibited. Authorship must be
attributed only to those who have made substantial intellectual
contributions, and all co-authors must consent to the final version
and its submission.
- Data Authenticity and Reporting Transparency: Authors must present
an honest account of their research, with an objective discussion of
its significance. Underlying data must be accurately represented; any
form of data fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting
constitutes a severe ethical breach.
- Transparency in Conflicts of Interest: All authors, reviewers, and
editors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional
relationships that could be perceived as influencing the work's
objectivity. These disclosures are managed transparently to maintain
trust.
- Formal Procedures for Complaints and Appeals: A clear, formal
process is established for submitting complaints regarding the
journal's conduct, editorial decisions, or staff. We are committed to
addressing all concerns through a fair and impartial investigative
process.
- Commitment to the Scholarly Record: We are committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. If errors are identified after publication whether by authors, readers, or editors we will assess their significance. Minor issues will be addressed through corrections (errata or corrigenda), while retraction will be considered only in cases of serious errors or ethical concerns, in accordance with COPE guidelines.
