Dr. Dipan Adhikari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Botany at Maulana Azad College, Kolkata, India, where he has been serving since January 11, 2025. Prior to this, he was associated with the Post Graduate Department of Botany, Hooghly Mohsin College, West Bengal. He obtained his M.Sc. in Botany from the University of Calcutta, specializing in Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics, and Plant Biotechnology, and later earned his Ph.D. in Life Sciences. Dr. Adhikari’s professional experience includes serving as a Scientist at SAMI Labs Limited, Bangalore, Lecturer at Krupandihi Degree College, Bangalore, and Assistant Professor at A. B. N. Seal Government College, Coochbehar. He has made significant research contributions with 57 scientific publications, including articles published with Springer, and has authored seven book chapters. His research interests broadly span plant biotechnology, molecular biology, and related life science disciplines.
