A Step-by-Step Guide

Our streamlined workflow is designed for efficiency and clarity from submission to publication.

Submission & Initial Check: Authors submit their manuscript through our online system. Our editorial team performs an initial screening to check for:

• Relevance to the journal's scope and aims
• Adherence to basic formatting and ethical guidelines
• Originality (using plagiarism detection software)
• Outcome: Manuscripts that pass proceed. Those that don't are "desk rejected" with an explanation.

Editor Assignment

A dedicated Handling Editor (an expert in the subject area) is assigned to oversee the manuscript. They are responsible for guiding the review and making the final decision.

Peer Reviewer Selection

The Handling Editor identifies and invites at least two independent peer reviewers with precise expertise in the manuscript's topic. Reviewers are vetted to ensure no conflicts of interest.

Double-Blind Review

Reviewers assess the manuscript without knowing the authors' identities, and vice versa. They evaluate:

• Originality: Does the work offer a significant new contribution?
• Methodology: Is the approach sound, ethical, and reproducible?

• Reject: The manuscript is declined due to unsound methodology, lack of novelty, or other critical issues.

Author Revision

Authors receive the reviewers' constructive comments and are invited to revise their manuscript. They must submit a point-by-point response explaining how they addressed each suggestion.

Final Evaluation

The revised manuscript and responses are reviewed by the Handling Editor. Sometimes, they are sent back to the original reviewers for confirmation. Once all concerns are resolved, a final acceptance decision is made.

Production & Publication

Accepted articles undergo professional copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading. Authors approve the final proofs before their work is published online with a permanent DOI, ensuring broad visibility and indexing.
