Article Processing Charge (APC) Structure

APC Rationale: The Article Processing Charge (APC) is a fundamental enabler of our open-access model. It covers the full cost of the publishing lifecycle, including comprehensive editorial management, rigorous peer review coordination, professional production (typesetting, XML markup), long-term online hosting, and digital archiving to ensure perpetual access. APCs are invoiced only upon formal acceptance of the manuscript.

Transparent Fee Table: APCs are tiered based on the final word count of the accepted manuscript to ensure fairness.

Invoicing & Payment: The APC invoice is issued to the corresponding author or their institution following acceptance. Our finance team will provide detailed payment instructions, a list of accepted payment methods, and clear timelines for settlement. No charges are required at the time of manuscript submission. APCs will be invoiced only upon formal acceptance of the article following editorial and peer-review evaluation.

Waiver & Discount Policy

• Eligibility for Support: Confmeets Publishing is committed to equitable access. Full or partial APC waivers are available for corresponding authors from low-income countries (as defined by the World Bank), unfunded graduate students, and early-career researchers. Waivers may also be granted for formally invited contributions or special issue articles, at the discretion of the Editors-in-Chief.
• Application Procedure: Requests for waivers must be made during the initial submission process and should be accompanied by supporting documentation (e.g., a letter from a department head or proof of status). Waiver decisions are made confidentially and are typically communicated prior to the final acceptance decision.
• Institutional Agreements & Discounts: Authors affiliated with institutions that have a publishing agreement or membership with Confmeets Publishing may be eligible for discounted or fully covered APCs. Authors should consult their library or the Confmeets editorial office for details.
