Membership Terms & Conditions

Membership Activation & Validity

  • Membership plans become active upon successful payment confirmation.
  • Each membership plan remains valid for 12 months from the activation date unless otherwise specified by the publisher.

Membership Upgrade Policy

  • Members may request an upgrade to a higher membership plan during the active membership period.
  • Upgrade requests are subject to administrative review and applicable price adjustments based on the selected plan.
  • Membership downgrades are generally not permitted during the active membership period.

Utilization of Membership Benefits

  • Eligible publication benefits included under the membership plan must be utilized within the active membership validity period.
  • Unused publication benefits, APC discounts, or membership privileges remaining after membership expiration will not be carried forward, transferred, refunded, or extended to future membership periods unless otherwise approved by the publisher under exceptional circumstances.
  • Members are encouraged to plan manuscript submissions appropriately to maximize membership benefits during the active membership period.

Single Membership Policy

  • Each author or researcher may maintain only one active membership account at a time.
  • Multiple memberships, duplicate accounts, or overlapping membership benefits for the same individual are not permitted.
  • Confmeets reserves the right to review, suspend, merge, or restrict duplicate memberships or accounts where necessary.

Membership Cancellation Policy

  • Membership plans are generally non-cancellable once activated.
  • Members may submit a formal cancellation request within 30 days from the membership activation date for administrative review and consideration.
  • Cancellation approval remains solely at the discretion of the publisher and may depend on membership usage, manuscript activity, editorial processing status, and applicable administrative policies.
  • Refunds, where applicable, may be subject to administrative deductions or processing charges.

Manuscript Transfer to Membership Benefits

  • If an author submits a manuscript independently and subsequently purchases a membership plan during the editorial or publication process, the author may request the publisher to consider applying eligible membership publication benefits to the submitted manuscript.
  • Such requests are subject to editorial and administrative review, manuscript eligibility, publication stage, and applicable membership policies.
  • The publisher reserves the right to approve or decline such transfer requests based on editorial workflow status, invoice processing, and membership applicability.
