Dr. Federico Venturi is a board-certified dermatologist and current PhD candidate in Oncology, Hematology, and Pathology at the University of Bologna, where he also serves as a consultant at the Oncologic Dermatology Unit, IRCCS Policlinico Sant’Orsola. His clinical and research interests span skin cancer diagnostics, non-invasive imaging (dermoscopy, reflectance confocal microscopy), Mohs surgery, and molecular biomarkers—particularly microRNAs in melanoma. Dr. Venturi has authored over 75 peer-reviewed publications and presented extensively at national and international congresses. He is actively involved in several international scientific societies, including EADV, EADO, IDS, and the EORTC Melanoma Group, and has been awarded multiple national and international scholarships for his research. Dr. Venturi is also engaged in academic teaching and mentoring, and committed to translational dermatology and collaborative academic work across Europe and beyond.
