Prof. Yongsheng Qian has extensive experience in teaching and scholarly research in transportation planning and management, as well as safety technology and engineering. He has served as the principal investigator for three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has led more than 60 research initiatives, including projects supported by the Gansu Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Project, the Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Key Project, the Basic Scientific Research Funds for Gansu Provincial Universities, the Gansu Provincial Department of Education Research Project, the Gansu Provincial Department of Transportation Research and Development Project, the Gansu Provincial Construction Science and Technology Key Project, and various horizontal collaborative research projects. He has published more than 260 papers in academic journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Nonlinear Dynamics, Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and Its Applications, Measurement, Modern Physics Letters B, Kybernetes, Chinese Physics B, IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica, Acta Physica Sinica, Communications in Theoretical Physics, Railway Transport and Economy, and China Safety Science Journal. Among these, more than 60 papers were published in SCI (SSCI) journals, and over 60 were indexed in EI/ISTP.
