Dr. Hui Li is an Associate Professor at the School of Environment, Beijing Normal University. She obtained her PhD in Environmental Science from Beijing Normal University in 2019, after completing her Master’s degree in Environmental Science at the China University of Mining and Technology in 2013 and her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering at Hubei Polytechnic University in 2010. Her research focuses on sustainable development, water pollution management, environmental system analysis, and the food-energy-water nexus. Dr. Li has published more than 40 papers in leading journals and has led over 10 national and regional research projects, including key projects under the National Key Research and Development Plan and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Prof. Yongsheng Qian has extensive experience in teaching and scholarly research in transportation planning and management, as well as safety technology and engineering. He has served as the principal investigator for three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has led more than 60 research initiatives, including projects supported by the Gansu Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Project, the Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Key Project, the Basic Scientific Research Funds for Gansu Provincial Universities, the Gansu Provincial Department of Education Research Project, the Gansu Provincial Department of Transportation Research and Development Project, the Gansu Provincial Construction Science and Technology Key Project, and various horizontal collaborative research projects. Dr. Min-cheng Tu is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at the College of Coastal Georgia. He holds a Ph.D. in Water Management and Hydrological Science from Texas A&M University and is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Environmental Engineering. His career encompasses both academic research and professional environmental consulting. Dr. Tu’s research interests are centered on the application of spatial science and advanced modeling techniques to environmental challenges. His early work focused on stormwater management and the computer simulation of surface water processes. More recently, he has concentrated on the use of spatial science, including Geographic Information System (GIS), satellite remote sensing, and drone remote sensing to study environmental issues. His published research in peer-reviewed journals such as Water, Air & Soil Pollution and Remote Sensing includes significant contributions to the fields of pollutant modeling, the effects of land reclamation on coastal ecosystems, and the simulation of urban thermal environments.

Currently, Dr. Charles David is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research, Vadlamudi, Guntur Dt, Andhra Pradesh, India. With 10+ of teaching experience, He supervised a PhD in network pharmacology. and he currently mentors many PhD scholars and B. Tech students. Since 2017, he has served as the In-Charge Faculty for 1-ton capacity Biogas facility converting food waste into biomethane. Since March 2021, he has been involved in a DST (SEED)-funded project titled “STI Hub for Income Generation and Livelihood Improvement of the Scheduled Caste Community of Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh” File No: DST/SEED/ SCSP/STI/2020/354; in which he serves as a lead investigator for an intervention—sustainable biogas production by anaerobic digestion of organic wastes. He has 6 months of Industry experience in Renewables Limited. Bengaluru as a part of the faculty Industry Immersion program from Jan 2025 to June 2025.
