Jean Bosco HABIMANA is a seasoned biomedical laboratory scientist with over 10 years of experience in clinical diagnostics, laboratory quality management, and molecular biology. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science from the University of Rwanda and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, specializing in Hematology and Blood Transfusion, at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda. Jean Bosco has served in key roles, including Laboratory Quality Officer and Section In-Charge of Molecular Biology and Microbiology, contributing to health system strengthening through mentorship, training, and research. He has participated in numerous national and international workshops and training programs, particularly focusing on ISO 15189 accreditation, HIV surveillance, and laboratory information systems. His research interests include hematologic disorders, diagnostic biomarkers, and infectious diseases, with several studies conducted and published in these areas. Driven by a passion for academic excellence and diagnostic advancement, Jean Bosco aspires to pursue a Ph.D. in Hematology, with a focus on transfusion in special patient (neonatal), molecular diagnosis of hematologic malignancies, and minimal residual disease (MRD) monitoring.
