Dr. Alessandro Mazzola is a Medical Doctor and fifth-year Resident in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico in Rome, Italy. He has developed a strong clinical and research interest in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal disorders. His professional activity integrates clinical practice, surgical training, and scientific investigation, with a particular commitment to innovation and evidence-based care in shoulder, knee and hip pathology. Dr. Alessandro Mazzola has compled a six-month clinical and research fellowship focused on advanced shoulder surgical techniques at the Department of Orthopedics, Shoulder Surgery Unit - Centre Orthopédique Santy et Hôpital Privé Jean Mermoz - Lyon, France, as well as a three-month observership dedicated to the same subspecialty at the Department of Orthopedics, Upper Limb Surgery Unit - Roth | McFarlane Hand & Upper Limb Centre, St. Joseph's Health Care - London, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Alessandro Mazzola is strongly interested in the applications of artificial intelligence in orthopaedics, especially its potential to enhance clinical decision-making, imaging analysis, and surgical planning.
