Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Bansal is a distinguished academician and administrator, presently serving as Addl Pro Vice Chancellor at Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP), as well as Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Director of Amity Business School. With over 36 years of experience in academia, research, and consultancy, he stands as a visionary leader in the field of management education. Dr. Bansal has authored 67 books and published more than 250 research papers in reputed national and international journals. A dedicated research mentor, he has successfully guided 42 scholars to the completion of their M.Phil./Ph.D. degrees and currently supervises eight doctoral candidates. His research interests include decision sciences, spirituality in management, ethics, and cybersecurity, and he has contributed to over 125 national and international conferences. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of several academic journals, including Amity Business Review (ABR), Amity Journal of Energy and Environment Studies (AJEES), and Communique. He has also collaborated with renowned publishers such as Emerald Publications and has been associated with several Scopus-indexed journals as a guest editor. Prof. Bansal has held prominent positions in professional bodies such as the Vice Chancellor Council (AIMA), Indian Science Congress Association, and Indian Mathematical Society. His contributions extend beyond academics to training, consultancy, and industry projects, reflecting his deep commitment to bridging academia and practice. Within Amity University, he plays a pivotal role in governance, serving as Head of Office of Student Success, Chairperson of the Examination Committee, Student Discipline Committee, Grievance redressal committee, University Sports Committee, Hostel committee etc. He is also an active member of the University Research Council and Academic Council, contributing to the university’s pursuit of academic excellence and student welfare. A recipient of numerous honors, including the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Lifetime Achievement National Award, the Rashtra Ratan Award, and the Best Outstanding Academic Leader National Award, Prof. Bansal is celebrated for his visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to education. Known for his humility and people-centric approach, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives for student development and institutional growth. Through his exceptional leadership and collaborative spirit, he has built a strong network of corporates, alumni, students, and faculty—working in synergy to propel Amity University to unprecedented heights.
