Dr. Bimal Kumar Dora received his Ph.D. in Power System Engineering from VNIT Nagpur, where his research focused on renewable energy systems, optimization algorithms, and the development of a Global Electricity Grid (GEG). His primary research interests include renewable energy integration, power system optimization, high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission, and artificial intelligence-based metaheuristic techniques. Dr. Dora has authored and co-authored several research papers in reputed international journals such as Elsevier, Springer, MDPI, and IEEE, and has presented his work at multiple international conferences. He also serves as a journal editor and reviewer for leading publishers including Nature, Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, and Taylor & Francis. His current research activities aim to advance sustainable energy technologies and contribute to the realization of a globally interconnected renewable energy grid.
