Esdras Matheus Gomes da Silva holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, a Master’s, and a Ph.D. in Computational and Systems Biology from Fiocruz. He specializes in Bioinformatics, focusing on high-throughput sequencing data (genomics, RNA-seq, proteomics). He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Biosciences, University of São Paulo (USP), working in the Amphibian Laboratory. His research investigates the diversity of antimicrobial peptides produced by anurans, combining computational and experimental methods to explore their biotechnological and therapeutic potential.
