These Author Guidelines are designed to help researchers prepare manuscripts that meet international publishing standards and facilitate efficient peer review and publication.

Authors are encouraged to review these guidelines carefully before preparing and submitting their manuscripts. Adherence to these requirements helps ensure consistency, scientific integrity, and a smooth editorial workflow.

Before You Begin

Before preparing a manuscript, authors should ensure that:

  • The work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All listed authors have contributed significantly to the research and approve the submission.
  • Ethical approvals have been obtained where required.
  • Funding sources and potential conflicts of interest are disclosed.
  • The manuscript complies with applicable reporting standards and ethical guidelines.

Scope and Suitability

Authors should carefully review the journal's Aims and Scope before submission. Manuscripts should demonstrate scientific rigor, relevance to the journal's subject area, and contribute meaningful knowledge to the academic community.

Submissions outside the journal's scope may be declined prior to peer review.

Article Types

Confmeets journals may consider the following manuscript categories:

  • Original Research Articles: Reports of novel research findings supported by robust methodology, data analysis, and interpretation.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive evaluations of published literature that provide critical analysis, identify trends, and highlight future research directions.
  • Case Reports: Detailed descriptions of unique or noteworthy clinical, technical, or scientific observations.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports presenting significant preliminary findings or innovative concepts.
  • Editorials: Invited perspectives addressing emerging topics, policy issues, or journal initiatives.

Manuscript Preparation

Language Requirements:

Manuscripts must be submitted in clear and professional English.

Authors may use either:

  • British English, or
  • American English

Provided consistency is maintained throughout the manuscript.

Submissions with substantial language deficiencies may be returned for revision before peer review.

General Formatting Requirements:

Authors should prepare manuscripts using

  • Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • A4 page format
  • 12-point readable font
  • Double-line spacing
  • Continuous page numbering
  • Continuous line numbering (recommended)
  • Standard margins throughout

Avoid excessive formatting and automated styling features that may interfere with production processes.

Title Page Requirements

The title page should include:

Manuscript Title: A concise and informative title accurately reflecting the content of the study.

Author Information: For each author provide:

  • Full name
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Department
  • City and country
  • Email address

Corresponding Author: Include

  • Full name
  • Institutional address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number (optional)
  • ORCID iD (recommended)

ORCID iD: Confmeets strongly encourages all authors to register for and provide an ORCID iD.

ORCID identifiers enhance author discoverability, improve attribution accuracy, and facilitate integration with scholarly publishing systems.

Abstract: The abstract should provide a concise summary of the study and typically include-

  • Background
  • Objectives
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions

Abstracts should be understandable without reference to the main text.

Keywords: Authors should provide:

  • 4–8 keywords
  • Terms not already appearing in the title whenever possible
  • Keywords that improve discoverability and indexing

Main Manuscript Structure

For research articles, manuscripts should generally contain:

Introduction

Describe:

  • Research context
  • Existing knowledge
  • Knowledge gaps
  • Study objectives

Materials and Methods

Provide sufficient detail to allow replication of the study.

Include:

  • Study design
  • Participants or samples
  • Data collection procedures
  • Experimental methods
  • Statistical analyses
  • Software used

Results

Present findings clearly and objectively.

Use tables and figures where appropriate.

Avoid interpretation of results within this section.

Discussion

Interpret findings in relation to existing literature.

Statistical Reporting Requirements

Where applicable, authors should:

  • Describe statistical methods in sufficient detail.
  • Report exact p-values whenever possible.
  • Provide confidence intervals for key outcomes.
  • Report effect sizes where appropriate.
  • Identify statistical software and version numbers.
  • Explain sample size calculations when relevant.

Abbreviations and Nomenclature

  • Define abbreviations upon first use.
  • Use internationally accepted terminology.
  • Employ standard scientific nomenclature.
  • Use generic names for drugs whenever possible.

Units of Measurement

Authors should use the International System of Units (SI Units) throughout the manuscript.

Non-standard units should be clearly defined when first introduced.

Tables

Tables should:

  • Be created using editable table tools.
  • Be numbered consecutively.
  • Include descriptive titles.
  • Avoid duplication of data presented elsewhere.
  • Include explanatory footnotes when necessary.

Image-based tables are not acceptable.

Figures and Illustrations

Figures should:

  • Be relevant and scientifically accurate.
  • Be numbered consecutively.
  • Include clear legends.
  • Be submitted in high-quality formats.

Authors should ensure that figures remain legible after resizing for publication.

Supplementary Materials

Authors may submit supplementary materials that support the main article, including:

  • Additional datasets
  • Extended tables
  • Additional figures
  • Protocols
  • Multimedia files
  • Software code

Supplementary files should be clearly labelled and referenced within the manuscript.

Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to promote research transparency by providing information regarding the availability of underlying data.

Data may be:

  • Publicly available in repositories
  • Available upon reasonable request
  • Restricted due to ethical or legal considerations

A Data Availability Statement should be included when applicable.

Code and Software Availability

For computational, engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence studies, authors are encouraged to provide access to:

  • Software workflows

Through recognized repositories whenever feasible.

Funding Information

All sources of financial support should be disclosed.

Include:

If no funding was received, authors should state:

Conflict of Interest Declaration

Authors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the research.

If no conflicts exist, authors should state:

Ethical Considerations

Research involving humans, animals, biological materials, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical standards.

Where relevant, authors should provide:

Authorship Criteria

Plagiarism and Originality
