Human-Robot Interaction

Human–Robot Interaction focuses on designing systems that enable safe, effective, and intuitive communication between humans and robots. It studies user behavior, ergonomics, and interface technologies to improve collaboration. HRI supports natural interactions through speech, gesture, and touch-based inputs. It enhances user trust, comfort, and acceptance in settings such as healthcare, workplaces, and homes. The field also addresses ethical considerations, safety protocols, and cognitive responses. As robots become more socially and functionally integrated, HRI ensures seamless cooperation between humans and intelligent machines.
