Mrs. Hajara Muhammed Ladan holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Microbiology and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field. She is a Principal Academic Technologist and a researcher with extensive experience in microbial research, having served at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and currently working with Kaduna State University, Kaduna, Nigeria. Her research interests span biosurfactant production, plastic biodegradation, biogas production and antimicrobial resistance. Mrs. Ladan is a member of several professional bodies, including the American Society for Microbiology, Nigerian Society for Microbiology, Biosafety Association of Nigeria, and the Science Association of Nigeria. She has authored nearly eight publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals, a book and is committed to advancing scientific research through editorial contribution and peer review.

1.  Senior Technologist with over a decade of experience in clinical and environmental microbiology research.

3.  Actively involved in data science applications for microbiology and environmental monitoring (trained as a Certified Data Scientist, 2023–2024).

4.  Engaged in academic leadership and teaching as Principal Academic Technologist at Kaduna State University (2024–present) and former Senior Academic Technologist at Ahmadu Bello University (2013–2023).

5.  Delivered research outputs in conferences and symposia (NSM, SAN, Interdisciplinary Research Conferences).
