Dr. Fariborz Ghaffarpasand is a highly accomplished neurosurgeon and medical researcher from Iran, currently serving as Deputy of Research at the Research Center for Neuromodulation and Pain, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. He earned his MD degree from Fasa University of Medical Sciences in 2011 and completed his Neurosurgery Specialist training at Shiraz University in 2018, graduating as a top-ranked student. With over 4000 brain and spine surgeries performed, Dr. Ghaffarpasand combines extensive clinical expertise with a prolific academic career, authoring more than 130 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals. His research spans traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, neuroregeneration, stem cell applications, genetic-based therapies, and advanced surgical techniques.
