Dr. Say Sreypich is currently serving as a full-time faculty member in the Master’s Program at the University of Puthisastra, Cambodia. She previously held a postdoctoral research position at the School of Medicine, Keio University, Japan. Dr. Sreypich earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering, majoring in Biomedical Science and Engineering, from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan, in 2024. She also holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University, Philippines (2018), and an Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering and Food Science from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (2011). Her research interests lie in the development of biomaterials for medical applications, particularly through decellularization technology, 3D printing, and hydrogel formation. She is also actively engaged in the study of biomaterials under in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo conditions, with a focus on their mechanical and surface properties.

1.  Research focus: Tissue engineering and biomedical materials, with emphasis on PEG-modified biomaterials and organ decellularization techniques.

2.  Doctoral research (Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan): Investigated anti-adhesion ability and cell response to PEGNHS-modified porcine and bovine pericardium.

3.  Postdoctoral research (Keio University, Japan): Biomedical material applications for regenerative medicine.
