Dr. Mohamed has extensive experience in biochemistry, genetics, and plant molecular biology at Desert Research Center (DRC). He obtained his master's degree in Biochemistry from Faculty of Science, Helwan University, in 2017, and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2025. From 2012 to 2025, Dr. Mohamed worked as a researcher at Biochemistry Unit, Department of Genetic Resources, DRC. Currently, he holds a Postdoctoral Fellow position at Wuhan Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His expertise covers a wide range of areas, including metabolomics, metabolic profiling of plant secondary metabolic pathways, chromatography techniques, nanotechnology, genomic analysis, transcriptomic analysis, gene expression analysis, and gene functional analysis. He has published research papers in journals, including International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS), Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution, Diversity, Horticulturae, and Journal of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
