Dr. Bharath Kumar Jakka, M.D., is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician currently serving as Chair of the Department of Medicine at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, Alabama. He completed his M.D. at the McLaren – Michigan State University Residency Program in Flint and his undergraduate medical education at Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences in India. Dr. Jakka has extensive clinical experience in hospital medicine and has held leadership roles as Vice Chair and Chair within his department.
