Dr. Brajeshwar Singh is a Professor and Head of the Division of Microbiology at the Faculty of Basic Sciences, SKUAST–Jammu, with 20 years of teaching and research experience in microbial biotechnology, plant pathology, and industrial microbiology. He has significantly contributed to the establishment of the Division of Microbiology and the development of the M.Sc. and Ph.D. Microbiology curricula. He has guided numerous M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, developed new academic programs, conducted national-level training programs, and actively participated on university, state, and national committees. His professional involvement includes collaborations with CSIR, ICAR, NBRI, DBT, and other national research institutions. Dr. Singh is a member of multiple scientific societies, holds patents, has released crop varieties, and serves on the editorial boards of refereed journals. His work emphasizes microbial biotechnology, bioactive compounds, plant pathogens, and applied agricultural microbiology.
