Dr. Aurel Coza is a Director and Professor of Practice within the Knowledge Enterprise department at ASU and has an adjunct appointment within the Department of Psychology and Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Coza has earned a Masters of Science (Theoretical Physics) and a PhD (Biomechanics) from the University of Calgary. He has joined ASU as the Director of adidas-ASU Center for Engagement Science in 2019 after an eight-year tenure with Adidas in Portland, Oregon. His research interest ranges from behavioral systems modeling to biosensors and computational behavioral science. He has authored dozens of research papers, industry reports and international patents focused on human behavior, product interaction, digital experiences, and human performance. His conceptual work has been at the core of a several commercial products and experiences.
