Dr. Bahareh Nowruzi is an Associate Professor specializing in the biology, taxonomy, physiology, and biotechnology of cyanobacteria and microalgae. With extensive experience in molecular biology, bioactive compounds, natural product discovery, microbial biotechnology, and microalgal nanobiotechnology, her research spans antimicrobial, antioxidant, antifungal, antiviral, anticancer, and environmental bioprocess applications. She has served as a visiting researcher in Finland and India, contributed to major international collaborations, and published widely in high-impact journals. Her interdisciplinary work connects cyanobacterial metabolites, nanotechnology, food biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, and medical applications.
