Dr. Sadahiro Iwabuchi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Bioinformatics and Genomics at the Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Kanazawa University, Japan. He is a leading scientist in single-cell transcriptomics, spatial omics, cancer biology, and molecular biology, with a strong interdisciplinary background that includes neuroscience, lifestyle-related disease research, and forensic molecular science. He has over two decades of combined academic and industry experience across Japan and the United States, including postdoctoral research at the University of Iowa, Hokkaido University, and faculty roles at Wakayama Medical University. His earlier industry experience at Teijin Pharma contributed to the development of ultrasound-based bone healing devices, resulting in high-impact research with over 700 citations. Dr. Iwabuchi’s current work focuses on tumor microenvironment profiling, spatial omics integration, single-cell RNA sequencing, CRISPR-based functional genomics, and molecular pathways in cancer progression and therapy resistance. He serves as a reviewer for leading international journals and as an Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports and Oncology Reports, contributing substantially to the advancement of modern genomics and precision medicine.
