Mr. Hamed Charkhian is a Ph.D. candidate in Cancer Genetics at Istanbul University’s Oncology Institute, with more than eight years of research experience in cancer biology, microbiology, biotechnology, nanomedicine, and microbial therapeutics. His work spans tumor genetics, microbiome–host interactions, nanoparticle toxicity, bacteriocin research, cancer biomarkers, and wound-healing therapeutics. He has served as a research assistant at Istanbul University and previously at Urmia University of Medical Sciences. He is the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Clinical Oncology and Cancer Research (USA), a Scholar Council Member at ETERNO Press (Singapore), and a reviewer for several international journals. He is also the Co-founder and CEO of "Kimia Pajouhan Exir Cycas," where he develops natural therapeutic formulations for radiotherapy-induced injuries and wound healing. His research achievements include multiple GenBank sequence submissions, top awards in cancer innovation platforms, and recognition at the 2024 Health Sciences Festival in Turkey.
